Writing: ZBB Cookbook

When Zac Brown shared with Coy, his idea to write a cookbook, Coy was immediately excited. Zac described his vision to Coy. He explained that he wanted to create something totally different from any other cookbook. He wanted it to be full of pictures, stories and poetry from his rich southern heritage, as well as reveal the recipes he has spent sp many years perfecting. He also wanted the book to contain recipe card that could be removed and stored along with other recipes.

Bowles loved the idea and offered to participate in the project. He wrote the introduction and several of the stories throughout as well as assisted Zac in the completion process. He says, “It was one of the coolest projects I’ve ever been part of. I’m really proud of it.”
